IndiDating works when people feel safe. These rules apply to profiles, photos, videos, captions, messages and calls.
Be a real adult person
- You must be 18 or older. No exceptions.
- Use your own photos. No impersonation, fake profiles or stolen images.
- One account per person.
Zero tolerance
These result in immediate removal, and reporting to the authorities where the law requires:
- Any sexual content involving a minor, or content that sexualises a minor.
- Content promoting terrorism, human trafficking or violence against anyone.
- Sharing intimate images of someone without their consent.
Not allowed
- Nudity or sexually explicit photos and videos.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or abuse based on religion, caste, gender, sexuality, disability or ethnicity.
- Prostitution, escort services or any illegal trade.
- Scams, investment schemes, requests for money or gift cards, or off-platform payment links.
- Spam, mass identical messages, and promotion of other services.
- Sharing anyone's private information, or recording calls without consent.
- Trying to bypass payment, manipulate earnings, or fake verification.
Staying safe
- Never send money to someone you met here — this is the most common scam.
- Keep conversations in the app until you trust the person.
- Meet in a public place and tell a friend where you are going.
- Do not share identity documents, OTPs, passwords or bank details in chat. We will never ask for them.
Tools you control
- Block — they cannot message or call you and the chat disappears for both.
- Mute — silence a conversation without blocking.
- Delete chat — remove a conversation from your list.
- Report — send a profile or behaviour to our moderation team.
- Set a price — charging for messages is an effective spam filter.
How we enforce
Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Depending on severity we may remove content, remove verification, restrict features, suspend the account, or remove it permanently. Serious cases are reported to law enforcement. If you believe we made a mistake, email support@indidating.com and we will review it.
Report something
Use the report option in the app, or email support@indidating.com with details. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
